Description

Teriyaki Tofu Lettuce Wraps are a delicious and healthy low-calorie dish that combines the savory flavors of teriyaki sauce with fresh lettuce and tofu.


Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 head of butter lettuce or romaine lettuce
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the pressed tofu into small cubes.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the tofu cubes.
  3. Cook the tofu until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the teriyaki sauce and sesame oil to the pan, stirring to coat the tofu evenly.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded carrots and chopped green onions.
  7. To serve, spoon the tofu mixture into lettuce leaves and garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some sriracha or chili flakes to the tofu mixture.
  • These wraps can be served warm or cold.
