- 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 head of butter lettuce or romaine lettuce
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the pressed tofu into small cubes.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the tofu cubes.
- Cook the tofu until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the teriyaki sauce and sesame oil to the pan, stirring to coat the tofu evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded carrots and chopped green onions.
- To serve, spoon the tofu mixture into lettuce leaves and garnish with sesame seeds.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some sriracha or chili flakes to the tofu mixture.
- These wraps can be served warm or cold.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or cucumbers for extra crunch.
