- 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Rice paper wrappers
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft.
- Place a basil leaf on each wrapper, add a spoonful of the beef mixture, and roll tightly.
- Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add chopped chili peppers to the beef mixture.
- These rolls can be served fresh or lightly pan-fried for a crispy texture.
