Description

A quick and delicious Korean beef bowl perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
  2. Drain excess fat and return the beef to the skillet.
  3. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to the beef.
  4. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
  • This dish can be made ahead and reheated for quick meals.
