  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the zucchini, cheddar, and chives.
  5. Whisk together the milk and egg, then pour into the dry ingredients.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  7. Pat the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges.
